How to Enter Your First Event

Step 1: Open Ascent

Launch the Ascent app on your device.
This is your gateway to discovering events, engaging with the community, and preparing to compete.

Step 2: Navigate to Events

​

Tap the Events tab from the main navigation.
This is where you’ll find all current and upcoming competitions available for entry.

​

Step 3: Choose Your Event

​

Browse the list of Auditioning Events and select the one that speaks to you — whether it’s music, dance, comedy, or another creative category.

Each event has its own focus, format, and rewards.

Step 4: Read the Event Details Carefully

​

Before entering, take a moment to review the event information, including:

• Competition rules

• Entry requirements

• Submission deadlines

• Judging and voting criteria

Understanding these details helps ensure your entry meets all requirements.

Step 5: Confirm You’re Eligible to Compete

​

Before you can record and submit your first performance, you must meet the Competitor Eligibility Requirements:

To be eligible to enter an event as a Competitor, you must:

• Be a registered Ascent Member for at least twenty-four (24) hours

• Cast a minimum of fifty (50) votes on other performances

• Upload a valid profile image

• Complete the Competitor Consent Form

• Be 16 years of age or older

If any of these steps are incomplete, the app will guide you through what’s needed before you can proceed.

Step 6: Prepare Your Performance

​

Once eligible, take time to plan and rehearse your performance.

Whether you’re singing, dancing, acting, or showcasing another talent, preparation helps you put your best foot forward.

Step 7: Record Your Video

​

When you’re ready:

• Tap Record from within the selected event

• Perform directly in the app

• Performances are recorded without filters or edits, keeping competition fair and authentic

This is your moment — focus, perform, and give it your best.

Step 8: Review and Submit Your Entry

​

After recording:

• Review your performance

• Confirm that everything meets the event requirements

When you’re happy, tap Accept to submit your entry.

Your performance will now be moderated and you will be contacted if there are any issues

. If approved the performance will go live when the Event Audition period ends.

Step 9: Engage with the Community

​

After submitting your entry:

• Watch other performances

• Cast Votes and support fellow Competitors

• Share your entry with your own social networks to invite support

Active engagement helps build visibility and strengthens the Ascent community.

Step 10: Payout Eligibility and Verification

​

To be eligible to receive payouts or rewards, Competitors must complete the Ascent Verification Process.

This process confirms identity and payment details and is required before any payouts can be issued.
You’ll be prompted in the app when verification is needed.

Each Vote received equals 1x Token. Tokens will be added to your Token wallet within your profile.

Once you have garnered 10,000 Tokens you are then eligible to withdraw your winnings
